“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek”
Barack Obama
At FettleBee Therapy, I offer integrative counselling, outdoor therapy, and menopause coaching.
You can choose to book a single service, such as counselling, or opt for an integrated approach that combines therapies to support your healing journey. I’ll follow your lead on which approach(es) you’d like to include, or exclude. If you’re unsure, feel free to mention it during your enquiry, and we can explore the options together.
Finding the right therapist is so important, which is why I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation. It’s a relaxed, no-pressure chat where we can talk through what’s brought you to therapy, what you’re looking for, and whether I might be the right fit for you.
It’s your time to ask questions, share a little (or as much as you like), and explore the support you need. Together, we’ll look at how we can work in a way that feels right for you.
If you’re ready to take that next step toward feeling supported and understood, have a look through the services I offer to see what feels like a good starting point—or just get in touch and we can figure it out together.

Counselling
Are you feeling like you’ve lost a bit of yourself lately? Maybe anxiety, low confidence, or self-esteem struggles are weighing you down. Or perhaps you’re in the midst of an identity crisis, trying to make sense of who you are. Whatever it is, you don’t have to face it alone—let’s figure it out together.
If you dream of starting each day feeling calmer, more your true self, and more in control, then counselling could be a great option for you. Counselling offers a safe and supportive space where you can explore your challenges with understanding, acceptance, and warmth.
Investing in counselling or therapy is a beautiful and transformative act of self-care, just like taking time for yoga, fitness, or spa days. But therapy offers something even deeper—it nurtures your emotional well-being, strengthens your resilience, and helps you build stronger, more meaningful relationships with the people you care about most, and challenges unhelpful patterns that don’t serve you. It's an investment in the most valuable thing you have: your mental health and the connections that bring joy, meaning, and purpose to your life.
Taking the first step to talk to a counsellor is a brave and powerful act of self-care. I understand how daunting it can feel—I’ve been there myself. But you don’t have to face your challenges alone. Together, we can explore what’s weighing on your mind, help you find your inner voice, and gently uncover more about who you truly are, all within a safe and supportive space.
Outdoor Therapy
John Burroughs
Do you find comfort or inspiration in nature and wonder how it could support your healing? Outdoor Therapy offers a gentle, grounding way to explore personal growth, especially if you're feeling anxious, stuck, or overwhelmed.
Blending nature, movement, and psychotherapy, outdoor therapy provides a powerful space for reflection, calm, and change.
Research shows it can reduce anxiety, low mood, and stress, while also improving self-esteem and emotional wellbeing. It’s especially helpful for those navigating loss, life transitions, or periods of feeling disconnected.
We’ll meet weekly in a peaceful green space—walking side by side or sitting quietly, depending on your needs. Before starting, we’ll have an online chat to see if this approach feels right for you.
Nature becomes a steady, supportive companion in each session—whether we actively engage with it or simply let it hold space in the background. Every season brings something different, and even rainy walks can be refreshing. If needed, we’ll adjust plans based on the weather.
These sessions offer time to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and absorb the calming energy of the outdoors—nourishing mind, body, and soul. It’s a gentle, enriching way to find balance and ease.
Menopause Coaching
Do you feel like your mind and body are out of sync, leaving you unsure if you’ll ever feel like yourself again? Menopause can bring changes that impact your work, relationships, and sense of identity—often alongside other life events like milestone birthdays or the loss of loved ones. It can feel overwhelming and isolating.
Menopause coaching offers a holistic, compassionate space to navigate these changes. Together, we’ll develop strategies to manage symptoms, ease anxiety and low mood, and help you feel more confident in your choices. This stage of life can become a powerful opportunity for growth, reconnecting with your authentic self and inner wisdom.
I use evidence-based approaches, including CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) for menopause, to offer practical tools for managing symptoms like hot flushes, sleep difficulties, mood shifts, and anxiety. CBT is particularly helpful for those unable to take hormone therapy or navigating medical menopause.
Whether you’re looking for short-term support with specific symptoms or longer-term guidance around self-esteem or relationships, I’m here to walk alongside you. My aim is to support you in living a vibrant, fulfilling life—during menopause and beyond—with warmth, understanding, and care.
Take that first step toward a positive menopause experience today. Please reach out to discuss how I can help you reduce symptoms, ease anxiety, and create a more empowering and enriching chapter in your life.
Workshops, Events & Training
I offer workshops and training, in outdoor therapy and managing menopause, and how to work with menopause in therapy. I also offer CBT for menopause groups, around the North-West and online. Follow me on Instagram, @fettlebee_therapy to be the first to hear about upcoming events!
