Hello, I’m Gill (she/her), an integrative counsellor, outdoor therapist, and menopause coach.
If you’re facing a life change that feels overwhelming, wishing for a bit more direction, or feeling a bit lost and unsure of who you are, you're not alone. These moments can leave us feeling stuck and low in confidence. And while it’s not easy to ask for help, reaching out is a brave and important first step. I know how hard that can feel—because I’ve been there myself.
I’m a registered member of the BACP and have had the privilege of supporting young people and adults of all ages through some of life’s most difficult chapters. Whether you’re navigating a turning point, letting go of unhelpful patterns, or exploring your identity to reconnect with who you really are, I offer a space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.
Together, we’ll work gently and at your pace—making sense of what’s brought you here, healing what needs to be healed, and nurturing hope for all that lies ahead.
I’m passionate about supporting people through the many ups and downs life can bring—especially those moments when you feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected from who you are. Sometimes these feelings are linked to perimenopause or menopause, even if you haven’t made that connection yet.
Drawing from both my personal experience and specialist training, I offer compassionate, down-to-earth support for anyone navigating this phase of life. I’ve worked with people who were surprised to discover that their anxiety—or that of a loved one—was related to menopause. Helping clients make sense of these changes, and manage them with clarity and care, is something I feel deeply committed to. Menopause isn’t the end of something—it can be the beginning of a powerful new chapter.
Whether we meet in my warm and cosy therapy room in Wigan, or outdoors in one of the peaceful green spaces nearby, I aim to create a space where you can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with your authentic self. And if meeting in person isn’t possible, I also offer online and telephone sessions to clients across the UK.
Counselling
If you dream of starting each day feeling calmer, more your true self, and more in control, then counselling could be a great option for you.
Counselling offers a safe and supportive space where you can explore your challenges with understanding, acceptance, and warmth.
It’s an opportunity to pause, reflect, make sense of things and find meaning in what’s happening in your life.
Outdoor Therapy
Outdoor Therapy lets you connect with nature as your therapeutic space. We’ll meet weekly—walking or sitting in a peaceful green area—beginning with an online chat to see if it feels right for you.
Each season brings its own charm—even rainy walks can be refreshing—and we can adjust plans if needed. Nature offers quiet support, helping you reflect and grow, whether we engage with it or simply let it surround us.
These sessions offer space to release stress, reconnect with yourself, and absorb the calming, restorative energy of the outdoors—bringing balance to your mind, body, and soul
Menopause Counselling
Perimenopause and menopause can feel overwhelming, with symptoms and life changes affecting your sense of control, relationships, and purpose, often making it all feel consuming.
Menopause coaching offers a holistic approach to navigate these changes, helping you reduce anxiety, boost mood, and feel empowered to make decisions that align with who you are. It’s a chance to embrace midlife as a time of transformation, reconnect with your authentic self, and find balance for your mind, body, and soul.
Menopause & women’s health, anxiety, depression, grief, life changes, low self-esteem, feeling stuck, relationship issues, loss and many more.
I’ll respond within 48 hours to arrange a free 20-minute consultation. If we’re a good fit, sessions usually begin within two weeks and are held weekly—though flexibility is possible.
